Facilities include picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets, but campers should bring their own drinking water, as the on-site pump is currently unavailable. Little Acorn Woman and Acorn Woman Lakes are non-motorized, perfect for canoeing or paddle boating, and offer anglers unique opportunities with native coastal cutthroat trout and other species. Hiking trails, such as the one-mile interpretive Little Acorn Woman Trail and the two-mile Summit Lake Trail, provide additional scenic exploration.

Situated about 23 miles southwest of Jacksonville, Oregon, the campground is a gateway to the Applegate Recreation Area.
