About Adelaide Campground
Why settle for crowded and noisy campgrounds when you can retreat to the tranquility of Corn Creek Canyon at Adelaide Campground? Situated at 5,500 feet on the southern end of the Pahvant Mountain Range near Kanosh, Utah, this peaceful destination offers seclusion, natural beauty, and recreational opportunities perfect for fishing, hiking, and ATV enthusiasts.
Adelaide Campground features nine individual sites and a group site nestled among groves of cottonwood and maple trees, providing ample shade and a refreshing atmosphere. Each site includes picnic tables and fire rings, but there are no designated tent pads. Modern amenities such as flush and vault toilets and potable water are available, though it’s a pack-in, pack-out facility without garbage service or utility hookups. A central amphitheater and a picnic pavilion add a communal touch, ideal for gatherings. The gravel roads and spurs ensure easy access for vehicles and trailers.
Just five miles southeast of Kanosh, Adelaide Campground is a gateway to outdoor adventures, where Corn Creek offers brown and rainbow trout fishing and serves as a starting point for nearby hiking and biking trails. Additionally, the Paiute ATV Trail, renowned for its extensive off-road routes, is conveniently accessible. Whether you’re planning a day trip, a family weekend, or an extended getaway, Adelaide Campground is an excellent choice to immerse yourself in nature and explore the rugged charm of Fishlake National Forest.
