Alpine Meadows Campground offers an intimate and truly secluded camping experience in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, set along the gentle flow of the Chiwawa River. Its remote location is complemented by a rugged 11-mile gravel road leading into the campground, ensuring an off-the-beaten-path escape for campers with suitable vehicles.

The campground is suited for traditional tent camping or small RVs (limited to 20 feet in length) and includes basic amenities such as picnic tables, fire rings, and a single vault toilet. However, potable water is not provided, so visitors should plan to bring or treat their own drinking water. This no-frills setup immerses campers in the wilderness, making it ideal for those focused on simplicity and connection to nature. Noise is minimal, with the soundtrack of the river and forest life filling the air.

Located approximately 40 minutes from the charming Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth, the campground also sits within easy reach of Fish Lake, just 21 miles away, offering opportunities for fishing and exploration.
