This serene camping destination is ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to stunning hikes, mountain biking trails, and refreshing river views.
Located 13 miles west of Monroe, Oregon, along the South Fork Alsea River, this Bureau of Land Management site features 21 campsites equipped with drinking water, fire rings, and vault toilets. The campsites, which accommodate both tent campers and RVs up to 32 feet, strike a balance between privacy and convenience. Just a short drive from the town of Alsea, the campground's prime location positions visitors close to fishing opportunities on the South Fork Alsea River, the Alsea Trout Hatchery, and scenic picnic spots.
