Amphitheater Campground

Accessible trails such as the Upper Cascade Falls Trail begin directly from the campground, while nearby routes lead to popular destinations like Baby Bath Tubs and Chief Ouray Mine. Wildlife viewing, hiking, and off-road trail adventures abound in the immediate area, making it ideal for both relaxation and exploration.

Located at an elevation of 8,400 feet within the Uncompahgre National Forest, Amphitheater Campground is just a short drive (less than five minutes) into Ouray, often referred to as "America's Switzerland."
