Appleton Lions Park Campground

Appleton Lions Park Campground offers a serene urban oasis, combining convenient access with a touch of natural beauty along the Pomme de Terre River. This small city-run campground provides a comfortable base for exploring western Minnesota's rural charm while enjoying modern amenities.

The campground features 25 sites, including 12 with full hookups, catering to both RVs and tent campers. A clean bathhouse with hot showers, a fish cleaning station, and a dump station ensure campers have essential comforts. The adjacent bike trail leads through a park with playgrounds, making it an ideal spot for families.

Located within Appleton city limits, the campground sits along Minnesota State Highway 7/59/119. It serves as an excellent stopover for travelers or a weekend getaway for locals. The nearby Swift County recreational parks, about a mile east, offer ATV and off-highway vehicle enthusiasts additional outdoor pursuits.
