About Beaver Creek State Park Family Campground
Perched high above Little Beaver Creek in the scenic sandstone hills of eastern Ohio, Beaver Creek State Park Family Campground offers campers a peaceful escape surrounded by rich natural beauty, historic charm, and outdoor adventure. This rustic campground provides 45 non-electric and six electric sites, all equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, and access to pit toilets and a dump station, ensuring a quintessential camping experience for nature enthusiasts.
The campground’s location at the northern end of the park connects directly to the Dogwood Trail, one of the park’s many hiking paths meandering through lush forests and alongside the Wild and Scenic Little Beaver Creek. Visitors can explore the Pioneer Village, featuring restored log cabins and a historic mill, or try fishing, paddling, or wildlife observation along the creek. Within a 30-minute radius, attractions such as the Museum of Ceramics in East Liverpool and Rogers Flea Market further enrich the experience.
Located in Columbiana County and just miles from the Pennsylvania border, the park is ideal for weekend getaways or longer stays. Its historical significance, serene environment, and close proximity to both pastoral and cultural treasures make it a standout destination for adventurers and families alike.
