Campground Overview
About Beaver View Campground
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Uinta Mountains, Beaver View Campground offers a tranquil escape where crisp alpine air and the soothing sounds of the Hayden Fork River create a serene atmosphere. This tucked-away gem, located 34 miles south of Evanston, Wyoming, along the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway, provides easy access to nearby hiking trails, fishing spots, and unparalleled mountain views.
The campground features 17 single sites and one group day-use site, each equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, surrounded by a mix of pine and aspen trees. While shade is limited, the vibrant summer wildflowers and grassy clearings add charm to this high-altitude retreat at nearly 9,000 feet. Essential amenities include vault toilets, but visitors must bring their own water and follow "pack in, pack out" principles to maintain the pristine environment.
Beaver View Campground is perfectly situated for outdoor enthusiasts, offering close proximity to alpine lakes, streams, and trailheads accessing the High Uintas Wilderness. The rich recreational opportunities, from fishing and hiking to mountain biking and ATV trails, make it a versatile base for both adventurous day trips and peaceful weekend getaways.
