Bountiful Peak Campground

Set at an elevation of 7,500 feet in a serene alpine basin of Utah's Wasatch Mountains, Bountiful Peak Campground offers unparalleled access to nature with dramatic mountain vistas, dense forest cover, and a sense of seclusion. Its location is just 9 miles from Farmington, providing easy access to a scenic point while feeling worlds away from urban life. The campground features 39 single sites and 4 double sites, equipped with picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets, but note that there is no on-site water supply. Accessible via a steep, winding gravel road from Farmington Canyon, it is best suited for smaller RVs and tent campers due to maneuvering constraints. Wildlife encounters are frequent, as the area is situated in bear country, emphasizing the importance of proper food storage. This is a 'pack it in, pack it out' facility, promoting minimal environmental impact.
