Campground Overview
About Cane Creek State Park
What sets Cane Creek State Park Campground apart is its unique location where the Gulf Coastal Plain converges with the Mississippi Delta, offering campers an immersive experience of two distinct ecological systems. Featuring 29 campsites, including 11 Class A sites with water and electricity, 18 Class B sites, and a unique Rent-An-RV option, the campground blends comfort with natural immersion, all situated just steps from the tranquil Cane Creek Lake.
The park itself spans over 2,000 acres and provides a wide variety of outdoor activities, including fishing, kayaking, and hiking its signature trails. The 15.5-mile Cane Creek Lake Trail, complete with three suspension bridges, is ideal for adventurers seeking scenic forest and lake views, while the shorter Delta View Trail offers a gentler exploration of the area's ecosystems. Visitors can also paddle the 2.5-mile marked kayak trail on the lake, making it perfect for day trips or weekend getaways. On-site amenities include modern bathhouses, a visitor center, picnic sites, and a playground, ensuring convenience and family-friendly fun.
Located just five miles east of Star City, Arkansas, the campground is easily accessible and within a short drive of Bayou Bartholomew, the world’s longest bayou, which further enhances the region's ecological allure. Whether you're a nature lover, outdoor enthusiast, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, Cane Creek State Park Campground promises an unforgettable mix of comfort, adventure, and natural beauty.
