Canyon Point Campground

Imagine setting up camp under towering Ponderosa pines and shimmering aspens at an elevation of 7,500 feet—Canyon Point Campground offers an ideal blend of natural beauty, tranquility, and modern conveniences that elevate the camping experience. Located within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest near Forest Lakes, Arizona, this campground defies expectations with its well-maintained amenities, peaceful atmosphere, and proximity to premier outdoor recreation.

Canyon Point boasts 113 campsites, including options for tents, trailers, and RVs up to 75 feet, with 32 sites offering electrical hookups. Its facilities include hot showers, flush and vault toilets, potable water stations, picnic tables, fire rings with grills, and an amphitheater that hosts educational programs on weekends. The campground caters to both intimate getaways and group gatherings, offering five double campsites for up to 16 people and two group sites accommodating up to 55. Firewood is available for purchase on-site. The layout ensures a sense of privacy and quiet, with campsites thoughtfully spaced amid a lush forest setting.

Located just 2 miles from Forest Lakes, campers have easy access to basic supplies. Willow Springs Lake, a popular spot for trout fishing and boating, is only 5 miles away. Adventurous visitors can hike trails leading to the iconic Mogollon Rim, which provides stunning views and wildlife encounters. The area also supports activities such as mountain biking, ATV riding, and stargazing, ensuring a fulfilling outdoor experience.
