About Cape Blanco State Park
Are you seeking a campground where rugged oceanfront seascapes meet historical treasures and serene camping experiences? Cape Blanco State Park Campground, located on Oregon’s westernmost tip, is a haven for those craving dramatic coastal views, peaceful natural surroundings, and an encounter with history.
This year-round campground offers 52 electric and water sites, four cozy cabins, and hiker/biker and group camping options. Each site is thoughtfully outfitted with picnic tables, fire rings, and nearby flush toilets and hot showers, while the dense coastal vegetation provides privacy and shelter from the often windy conditions. Horse enthusiasts will appreciate the dedicated eight-site equestrian camp with trails and open riding areas. Beyond the campsites, visitors can explore over eight miles of trails, visit the 1870 Cape Blanco Lighthouse, or tour the Hughes House, a beautifully preserved 19th-century ranch home.
Just nine miles north of Port Orford, this campground serves as a perfect base to experience the untamed beauty of the Oregon coast. Enjoy secluded beaches, fishing along the Sixes River, or marvel at panoramic ocean views that define this extraordinary destination.
