Carley State Park

Framed by the tranquil flow of the North Fork Whitewater River and cloaked in dense hardwood forest, Carley State Park Campground offers a serene escape defined by natural simplicity, vibrant seasonal beauty, and a rustic charm. This small, intimate campground features just 20 sites, ideal for tents or small RVs, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, ensuring an authentic camping experience amidst the enveloping quiet of the forest.

The campground’s wooded setting provides excellent shade and a sense of seclusion, paired with basic amenities such as vault toilets and potable water. Nearby, the park boasts six miles of scenic trails that wind through valleys, ridges, and rock outcroppings, with highlights like river overlooks and algific talus slopes, home to unique plant species.
