Located just 1 mile east of Mount Vernon, Oregon, and within easy reach of the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness and nearby historical landmarks, this peaceful campground blends natural beauty, quality amenities, and unique features like reservable tepees for a memorable stay.
The campground boasts 31 electric and water sites, along with well-maintained facilities, including hot showers, flush toilets, and a nearby RV dump station. Visitors will appreciate the privacy provided by dense vegetation between campsites, as well as access to riverside walking trails, a small wildlife pond, and an outdoor amphitheater hosting seasonal interpretive programs. Unique to Clyde Holliday are its tepees, available from mid-April through late September, offering a rustic yet comfortable camping experience. Additionally, fire rings, picnic tables, and on-site firewood sales ensure convenience for both short stops and extended stays.
