Located six miles north of Woodland Park, this family-friendly site lies amidst towering ponderosa pines at an elevation of 7,800 feet, offering a serene atmosphere and stunning natural surroundings. A short trail leads directly to Manitou Lake, a perfect spot for fishing, canoeing, and birdwatching, while the nearby Centennial Bike Trail caters to hikers, bikers, and rollerbladers.
This campground features 80 well-maintained campsites, complete with picnic tables, fire grates, and vault toilets. While there are no hookups, potable water and trash collection are available, and the paved roads ensure easy navigation for most vehicles, although larger RVs may face challenges.
