For those seeking solitude, the park also offers 32 backcountry sites accessible by a three- to four-mile hike, providing a more secluded experience in nature. Activities abound, from hiking and mountain biking along 18 miles of trails to scuba diving and tidepool exploration in the park’s protected marine area. The nearby Historic District, just minutes away, showcases charming vintage seaside cottages and offers dining options with stunning ocean views.
