The campground features 61 well-maintained tent and RV sites, many shaded by fir, cedar, and pine trees, with select spots affording lake views. Each site is equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, and food storage lockers. While there are no utility hookups, vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Activities abound with Shaver Lake’s inviting waters ideal for fishing, swimming, and boating, alongside nearby hiking trails like the easy-access Peninsula Loop and Osprey Cove trail, both offering stunning scenery. Wildlife spotting is common and adds to the wilderness atmosphere.
Dorabelle’s proximity to Shaver Lake village, just a short drive away, means easy access to stores, restaurants, and boating facilities, including a marina.
