With its remarkable blend of dramatic shoreline bluffs, sandy beaches, and tranquil woodlands, Fair Haven Beach State Park stands out as a destination that offers both stunning natural beauty and diverse recreational opportunities. Whether you're drawn to its 1,500 feet of sandy beach along Lake Ontario, the serene waters of Sterling Pond, or extensive hiking trails, this park caters to a range of outdoor interests.
The campground offers a variety of accommodations, including 46 electric and 138 non-electric campsites, as well as 33 cabins and 4 cottages nestled in the park's rolling woodlands. Campers can enjoy modern facilities, including restrooms with showers, a camp store, and designated picnic areas equipped with grills. For water enthusiasts, boat rentals are available for paddling on Sterling Pond, while fishing and powerboating opportunities abound on Lake Ontario and Little Sodus Bay. In winter, the park transforms into a hub for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing.
Located just two miles north of the village of Fair Haven, this 1,141-acre park offers easy access to the scenic bluffs and beaches of Lake Ontario. Nearby attractions like the Fort Ontario State Historic Site and Selkirk Shores State Park are within a short drive, making Fair Haven Beach State Park an ideal base for both relaxed getaways and active outdoor adventures.
