Situated at 5,100 feet elevation in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, this campground offers 24 well-maintained sites that accommodate both tent and RV campers, including a group site for up to 150 guests. Each site is equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings, and grills, supported by essential amenities such as drinking water, vault toilets, and trash collection. The gravel roads and spurs ensure easy access, though there are no electrical hookups. Visitors can also purchase firewood on-site, adding convenience to this forested escape.

Falls Campground is ideally located just 45 miles east of Idaho Falls and serves as an excellent base for outdoor enthusiasts. A short walk from the campground reveals Fall Creek Falls, a dramatic travertine cascade visible from various points within the area. For anglers, the Snake River offers excellent cutthroat trout fishing, while opportunities for canoeing, floating, and kayaking abound. Within a 20-minute drive, Palisades Reservoir promises boating, fishing, and even water skiing.
