Perched at an elevation of 8,800 feet on the Wasatch Plateau, Flat Canyon Campground offers a refreshing mountain escape with panoramic views, cool temperatures, and easy access to outdoor recreation. The campground features a mix of single-family sites and one large group site accommodating up to 50 people, making it suitable for both intimate getaways and larger gatherings. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, while vault toilets and potable water ensure basic comforts. The recent removal of hazardous trees has opened up the canopy, creating a unique blend of sun-dappled clearings and remaining spruce stands, where summer wildflowers add splashes of color.

Located just four miles east of Fairview on Highway 264, Flat Canyon Campground serves as an ideal jumping-off point for adventures in the Wasatch Plateau. Electric Lake, a popular spot for boating and fishing, lies only a mile away, while a trail from the campground leads directly to the smaller Boulger Reservoir.
