The campground provides easy access to the lake, where boating (electric motors only), fishing, and kayak rentals are popular activities, as well as to nearby hiking trails ranging in difficulty. A group camping area accommodating up to 40 people and a playground accessible from the camping loop add to the family-friendly atmosphere.
