Campground Overview
About Grant Lake Marina
Awash in tranquility and commanding views of the Eastern Sierra’s dramatic peaks, the Grant Lake Marina Campground offers a distinctive retreat for those seeking both solitude and adventure. Situated on the largest lake of the June Lake Loop, this campground is renowned for its eight miles of shoreline, opportunities for water recreation, and exceptional trout fishing.
The campground provides 70 shaded sites equipped with water and sewer hookups, complemented by clean restrooms and shower facilities. While the sites lack electricity, the serene, off-grid environment is a draw for visitors looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature. Grant Lake is the only lake in the loop that allows water sports such as wakeboarding and water skiing, making it a hotspot for thrill-seekers, while anglers often return for its legendary trophy-sized brown and rainbow trout. Additionally, the unpaved roads surrounding the lake offer excellent spots for fishing, picnics, and unparalleled views of 12,000-foot Mount Wood.
Located just eight miles from the small town of June Lake, the campground is perfectly removed from the bustle while remaining within easy reach of essentials. Nearby attractions include the scenic June Lake Loop with its alpine lakes, hiking trails, and off-roading adventures. Open from late April to mid-October, Grant Lake Marina Campground is ideally suited for weekend escapes or extended stays in this High Sierra gem.
