Located just half a mile from the trailhead to Greeter Falls and adjacent to the 16,000-acre Savage Gulf State Park, this destination offers direct access to 50 miles of well-marked trails featuring dramatic vistas, cascading waterfalls, and serene forest hideaways.
This campground accommodates a variety of camping preferences with 74 campsites, including full-hookup RV sites, furnished yurts and cabins for “glamping,” and primitive tent spots. Unlike crowded trailer parks, the spacing is deliberately generous, with no more than three sites per acre, ensuring a tranquil and uncrowded experience. Amenities include multiple bathhouses, high-speed Wi-Fi, a camp store, an activity center with games and crafts, children’s play areas, and even dog parks. Additionally, the Saturday night community campfire adds a warm social touch to the setting.
