This 55-site campground provides a perfect base for water enthusiasts and wilderness explorers alike, with electric-motor boating, swimming, and hiking opportunities at your doorstep.

Situated 37 miles east of Oakridge, Oregon, Islet Campground sits at an elevation of 5,400 feet in the Cascade Mountains. The campground's location on one of Oregon's largest and purest natural lakes allows visitors to experience remarkable water clarity, with visibility reaching depths of up to 120 feet on calm days. A 1-mile Shoreline Trail connects Islet to nearby North Waldo Campground, offering pleasant lakeside strolls.

Campers can enjoy direct access to the Jim Weaver Loop, a 22-mile trail circling Waldo Lake that's popular for both hiking and biking. The campground serves as an ideal starting point for exploring nearby wilderness areas, including the Waldo Lake Wilderness and its network of trails leading to scenic alpine lakes.
