Kimball Bend Park

Kimball Bend features 36 campsites, all outfitted with 50-amp electric and water hookups, catering to RVs, trailers, and tents. The campground offers a variety of amenities, including hot showers, flush toilets, a dump station, and a boat ramp for easy access to Whitney Lake—ideal for boating, fishing, and kayaking. At the heart of the campground lies the Chisholm Trail, a historic cattle drive route, with remnants of its storied past still visible. Nearby, the 12.5-mile Hopewell Trail provides opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The shaded sites, surrounded by oak and cedar trees, afford a sense of seclusion while maintaining user-friendly accessibility.
