Perched in a serene alpine basin at an elevation of 8,300 feet, Lake Cleveland Campground - East Side offers breathtaking views, easy access to pristine outdoor recreation, and spacious sites accommodating RVs and trailers. The East Side of Lake Cleveland features 17 campsites, seven of which are reservable, with the remainder available on a first-come, first-served basis. Designed to suit large RVs and trailers, the sites are equipped with vault toilets but lack drinking water or hookups, so campers should come prepared. The area invites a variety of activities, including fishing, kayaking, swimming, and hiking, while non-motorized boating ensures a peaceful lake environment. Nearby attractions include Mt. Harrison’s fire lookout, accessible hiking and biking trails at Pomerelle Ski Area, and the Skyline Trail just two miles away.

Located about 25 miles from Burley, Idaho, and accessible via the steep, winding Howell Canyon Road, the campground’s secluded setting is worth the drive.
