Campground Overview
About Lake Easton State Park
Is it possible to find a campground that offers both modern comfort and immersion in nature’s serenity? Lake Easton State Park Campground delivers just that, combining scenic lakeside beauty with a well-maintained selection of camping options. Located less than a mile from the town of Easton, Washington, this campground is framed by the Cascade Mountain foothills and offers direct access to the sparkling waters of Lake Easton.
The campground features 90 wooded tent sites, 45 full-hookup RV sites, and cozy cabins, each equipped with essentials like picnic tables, fire pits, and, in many cases, electrical connections. Clean restrooms and coin-operated showers enhance the experience, making it ideal for families, first-time campers, and seasoned explorers alike. While some campsites are near I-90 and may experience traffic noise, the park compensates with its wealth of opportunities, including lakeside swimming, kayaking, and access to trails for hiking, biking, and nature viewing. The Yakima River and the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail are additional highlights for outdoor enthusiasts.
Just an hour’s drive from Seattle and a short distance from Cle Elum, the park’s location provides easy access to nearby attractions like the South Cle Elum Historic Railyard. Whether it’s summer fun by the water or winter cross-country skiing and snowmobiling, Lake Easton State Park serves as a versatile destination for day trips, weekend getaways, and extended stays.
