Campground Overview
About Little Naches Campground
Little Naches Campground is a serene retreat along the Naches River in the Northern Cascades Range of Washington, offering campers a mix of natural beauty, accessibility to outdoor activities, and the tranquility of a forested riverside setting. Located within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, it's an excellent destination for fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing, with several nearby trails like Frost Mountain Lookout and Kaner Flat providing opportunities to explore the rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
The campground features 16 sites accommodating tents and small to mid-sized RVs, with basic amenities including picnic tables, fire pits, vault toilets, and drinking water, but no electrical hookups. Some sites are set along the river, offering scenic views and soothing water sounds. While Highway 410's proximity may introduce some daytime noise, the natural charm and relatively quiet nights make it a welcoming place for camping getaways.
Situated about 30 miles northwest of the town of Naches, the campground is a gateway to diverse activities such as whitewater paddling on the nearby American River, horseback riding, and even winter sports like snowmobiling and snowshoeing during colder months. Little Naches Campground is particularly suited for weekend escapes, outdoor recreation adventures, and those seeking a dose of the Pacific Northwest's pristine wilderness.
