Little Stony Campground

Isolated in the serene Little Stony Creek drainage, Little Stony Campground offers a rugged camping experience specifically tailored for off-highway vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts and anglers seeking tranquility among chaparral and mixed conifer landscapes. This small campground, featuring only eight sites, provides an intimate escape with fire rings, picnic tables, and vault toilets, ensuring a simple yet functional stay. However, the absence of potable water and garbage collection requires campers to arrive prepared with water and adhere to a strict pack-it-in, pack-it-out ethos.

Located just 10 miles southwest of Stonyford in Mendocino National Forest, the campground’s proximity to the Little Stony OHV Staging Area makes it a prime destination for trail riders. The area is equally compelling during winter, as the creek transforms into a lively stream perfect for fishing.
