About Loggers Lake Campground
Set alongside the tranquil shore of a 22-acre spring-fed lake in the secluded forests of Shannon County, Logger's Lake Campground offers a serene escape perfect for anglers, nature lovers, and those seeking a peaceful retreat. Highlights include stunning lakefront views from every campsite, the soothing sound of rippling water, and a setting enriched by colorful vegetation and clear springs.
The campground features 14 primitive sites arranged in a loop, each equipped with a tent pad, picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. Vault toilets and pressurized drinking water are located centrally for convenience. The lake is a favorite for non-motorized boating, fishing for bass, sunfish, and catfish, and quiet relaxation. Visitors can enjoy a small swim beach, two boat ramps, and a barrier-free fishing pier. A one-mile hiking trail encircles the lake, with a spur trail leading to the lake’s spring, offering picturesque views and a sense of immersion in the area’s natural beauty.
Situated approximately six miles south of Bunker, Missouri, Logger's Lake Campground is an excellent base for day trips into the nearby Mark Twain National Forest.
