Set against the backdrop of Illinois' largest man-made lake, Carlyle Lake, the Lotus Group Area campground offers a blend of group privacy, scenic natural surroundings, and modern conveniences that make it an exceptional destination for large gatherings or events. Positioned within the Coles Creek Recreation Area, this campground is just a short walk from the Coles Creek Beach and Day Use Area, ensuring easy access to water-based recreation while maintaining a serene atmosphere.

The campground accommodates up to 80 people, featuring five enclosed mini shelters with electricity, five campsites with electrical hookups, and a large enclosed shelter equipped with tables, water, and electricity.
