This year-round campground stands out for its stunning lake views, well-kept facilities, and easy access to water sports and fishing.
Situated on the western shore of Lake McClure, just seven miles from Lake McSwain, McClure Point boasts 100 campsites, including 43 with water and electric hookups. Each site is thoughtfully equipped with a picnic table, shade ramada, and BBQ pedestal. Flush toilets, hot showers, and a fish-cleaning station enhance comfort, while a boat ramp and a day-use area with picnic options cater to lake enthusiasts. While the area lacks fire rings, propane and charcoal fires are permitted.
The campground’s prime location offers countless opportunities for outdoor recreation. Lake McClure is renowned for excellent fishing, including bass, trout, and salmon, alongside smooth waters perfect for boating, kayaking, and water skiing. Nearby, Lake McSwain provides an additional aquatic retreat, just a short drive away.
