The campground also has four equestrian campsites and group camping areas, making it a versatile choice for diverse camping styles. While the wooded campsites offer privacy and quiet perfect for stargazing, the surrounding park boasts nearly 30 miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails, including the Summit Loop Trail leading to scenic overlooks and historic sites.
