Mink Creek Group Campground, located a mere 12 miles south of Pocatello, Idaho, defies typical camping expectations with its blend of accessibility and rich natural appeal. The campground is equipped with a 40x80-foot picnic pavilion, large paved parking, 12 picnic tables, a fire ring, vault toilets, potable water, and limited electrical hookups, ensuring a comfortable group camping experience. Several trails, such as the West Fork Mink Creek Trail, originate just outside the site, catering to hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders. Nearby, the Cherry Springs Nature Area provides fishing spots, self-guided nature trails, and additional picnic areas, while the Mink Creek Nordic Center transforms from a hiking and riding venue in summer to a hub for cross-country skiing in winter.
