This picturesque campground sits at 8,100 feet elevation on the southern slope of the Uinta Mountains, providing a cool mountain retreat. The two spacious group sites can each accommodate up to 75 people, making it ideal for large gatherings and family reunions.

Located about 36 miles north of Duchesne, Utah, Moon Lake Group Campground serves as a gateway to the rugged beauty of Ashley National Forest. The campground's proximity to Moon Lake allows for easy access to boating, canoeing, and fishing for rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and kokanee salmon.
