Muskegon State Park Channel Campground offers a unique blend of lakeside serenity and maritime intrigue, with campsites overlooking the bustling Muskegon shipping channel. This well-maintained campground features two distinct loops, providing a mix of intimate waterfront sites and more spacious inland options, all within earshot of gentle waves and passing boats.
Situated on the southern edge of Muskegon State Park, the Channel Campground boasts excellent views of Muskegon Lake and direct access to a paved walkway along the shipping channel. Campers can enjoy the park's 3 miles of shoreline, split between Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake, as well as explore 12 miles of scenic hiking trails through forested dunes.
The campground's location, just four miles west of North Muskegon, allows for easy access to urban amenities while maintaining a natural, secluded feel.
