Campground Overview
About Natural Bridges National Monument Campground
Rising 6,500 feet above sea level, the Natural Bridges National Monument Campground offers a serene and rugged high-desert camping experience, surrounded by vast pinon-juniper forests and sheltered under some of the darkest night skies in the world. This intimate 13-site campground serves as a gateway for exploring three massive natural bridges, hiking unspoiled canyon trails, and stargazing in the world’s first International Dark Sky Park.
Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, grill, and tent pad, making it suitable for tents and small RVs up to 26 feet in length. While the campground lacks running water, electric hookups, and flush toilets, potable water is available at the nearby visitor center (limited to 5 gallons per person per day). Vault toilets ensure basic conveniences, while the surrounding juniper trees provide privacy and a tranquil atmosphere.
Located just a short walk from the visitor center and a nine-mile scenic loop road, the campground is perfectly positioned for day hikes to Sipapu, Kachina, and Owachomo Bridges or visits to the historical Horse Collar Ruin. Within 30 minutes, visitors can also explore the Bears Ears National Monument and other nearby cultural and natural treasures. Ideal for peaceful getaways and adventurous outings, this campground immerses campers in the majestic landscapes of southeastern Utah.
