Campground Overview
About Niagara OHV Campground
Isolated amidst the rugged beauty of the Stanislaus National Forest, Niagara OHV Campground offers a serene retreat for off-road enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Its elevation of 7,000 feet provides cool forested surroundings and access to thrilling OHV trails, making it a distinctive destination for adventure within the California Sierra Nevada.
The campground features 10 primitive sites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, catering to campers seeking a rustic, back-to-basics experience. Its facilities include vault toilets but no potable water—visitors must plan accordingly and bring their own drinking water. The dirt-surfaced parking pads and roads emphasize its rugged character. While ideal for OHV recreation, the area also offers the chance to immerse in the quiet splendor of a mixed conifer forest.
Located about 19 miles east of Pinecrest and 3 miles off Highway 108 via Eagle Meadow Road, the campground situates visitors close to other natural attractions. Pinecrest Lake and the breathtaking vistas of Yosemite National Park are within a short driving range, adding to its appeal for day trips or weekend getaways. Whether you're here for off-road thrills or forest tranquility, Niagara OHV Campground delivers a unique and memorable outdoor escape.
