At an elevation of 7,800 feet, it serves as a gateway for campers seeking relaxation and easy access to diverse outdoor activities.
Located 32 miles from the town of Meeker, North Fork Campground sits across from the North Fork of the White River, renowned for its excellent trout fishing. Adventurers can explore nearby OHV trails or head 20 miles further to hiking routes within the dramatic Flat Tops Wilderness. On-site amenities include picnic tables, campfire rings, vault toilets, and drinking water, while firewood is readily available for cozy evenings. Though there are no electrical hookups, the natural setting more than compensates for a rustic yet rejuvenating camping experience.
