North Fruita Desert Campground

This campground features two distinct loops with 111 campsites accommodating tents, trailers, and RVs up to 50 feet. Most sites include a concrete picnic table, fire ring, and grill, with group sites available for larger gatherings. While the amenities are basic—vault toilets only, with no water or trash services—the access to nearby trails more than compensates. Mountain bikers can ride directly onto 33 miles of singletrack trails, ranging from easy to technical, framed by scenic desert vistas. The lower loop also serves as an event staging area for mountain biking and trail running events, adding to the dynamic atmosphere.
