North Red Hills Campground

Dramatically perched between the rocky Seminoe Mountains and the sparkling expanse of Seminoe Reservoir, North Red Hills Campground offers a serene yet rugged escape for campers seeking a blend of desert scenery and water-based recreation. The campground features 30 reservable sites, 13 of which include electric hookups. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring, accommodating both tent and RV campers. While there are restrooms available, visitors should note the absence of showers and potable water on-site, requiring additional preparation for extended stays. Despite its remote feel, North Red Hills provides easy access to outdoor activities such as world-class fishing for trout and walleye in the reservoir, as well as scenic boating opportunities that unveil the area’s dramatic landscape.

Situated within Seminoe State Park, just about 1.5 hours southwest of Casper, Wyoming, the campground offers a tranquil base for exploring the park’s 21-mile-long reservoir, sandy beaches, and the nearby Seminoe Sand Dunes.
