This primitive campground, set on the former site of a Civilian Conservation Corps camp, provides eight basic campsites equipped with picnic tables and fire rings. The area's serene atmosphere is enhanced by its lack of modern amenities, with only vault toilets available and no hookups or drinking water on-site. Located approximately 18 miles north of Clarksville along Arkansas Highway 21, Ozone Recreation Area serves as a gateway to the Ozark Highlands region.
