About Paradise Point RV Park
Perched on a private peninsula extending into Sweets Bay, Paradise Point RV Park offers a unique blend of tranquility, natural splendor, and water-focused recreation on Michigan's eastern Upper Peninsula. This gated RV park features panoramic views of Lake Huron, frequent sightings of passing lake freighters, and breathtaking sunsets, all within a serene, waterfront setting.
Featuring 14 full-hookup sites with water, sewer, and 50/30/20-amp electric service, Paradise Point RV Park is thoughtfully designed to accommodate RVs of all sizes, including big rigs. The campground boasts over 600 feet of shoreline, a protected boat harbor, a boat ramp, and dockage facilities, making it an ideal destination for boating, kayaking, and fishing enthusiasts. With ample privacy, fire rings, picnic tables, and spaces for slide-outs, the campground is equally suited for relaxed weekend getaways or extended stays. Guests can enjoy stargazing at the park's Dark Sky area, while bird watchers may appreciate the nesting waterfowl in the surrounding bay.
Located just a few minutes north of DeTour Village, visitors are in close proximity to the DeTour Reef Lighthouse and the ferry to Drummond Island. Natural sandy beaches, ATV trails, and hiking or biking paths are also within easy reach, providing a convenient balance of quiet seclusion and outdoor adventure.
