Pink House Recreation Site

Perched along the Clearwater River just five miles west of Orofino, Idaho, the Pink House Recreation Site redefines the camping experience with its blend of scenic beauty, relaxation, and recreational opportunities. This developed campground offers riverside tranquility, full-featured RV and tent sites, and unparalleled access to world-class fishing, boating, and tubing opportunities directly on the river.

The campground features 15 RV sites with full hookups (water, 30-amp electricity, and sewer) and three tent sites, all thoughtfully arranged to maximize both river views and privacy. Guests enjoy amenities such as picnic tables, BBQ grills, fire rings, potable water, and clean restroom facilities, along with a nearby sandy beach for swimming and relaxing. The site also serves as a hub for river enthusiasts with a concrete boat ramp providing year-round access to the Clearwater River, renowned for its salmon and steelhead fisheries. For day-use visitors, two reservable pavilions equipped with grills, lighting, and electricity make for excellent gathering spots.
