About Pleasure Point Park
Perched on the southern banks of Toledo Bend Reservoir, Pleasure Point Park combines 195 acres of wooded serenity with three miles of shoreline to offer a haven for camping enthusiasts seeking lakefront adventure, relaxation, and natural beauty. This campground defies conventional expectations with its well-maintained amenities, including a white sandy beach, fishing pier, and two-lane boat launch, ensuring a perfect blend of outdoor activities and convenience.
Pleasure Point Park features 126 RV sites with water and electric hookups (20/30/50 amp), 50 of which include sewer connections, alongside a primitive tent camping area that overlooks the lake for those embracing a back-to-basics getaway. Thoughtfully designed facilities, such as modern bathhouses, a laundry room, an RV dump station, and a fish-cleaning station, add to the park’s appeal. With opportunities for fishing, swimming, boating, and picnicking under the shade of towering pines, the campground caters equally to day trips, weekend escapes, and extended vacations.
Located approximately five miles north of the Toledo Bend Dam and within 30 minutes of attractions like Cypress Bend Park and the Sabine National Forest, Pleasure Point Park offers campers access to the region’s unparalleled natural wonders. Whether savoring a tranquil sunset, casting a line from the pier, or exploring local trails, this campground truly encapsulates the charm of Louisiana's great outdoors.
