About Point Campground

Set along the shores of Elk Lake, Point Campground offers an intimate camping experience with just eight campsites, making it a peaceful and highly desirable destination for nature lovers. The campground is characterized by its stunning alpine setting, where views of Elk Lake, framed by Mt. Bachelor and South Sister, combine with easy access to fishing, boating, and swimming. These features make it a choice location for campers seeking tranquil outdoor recreation.

Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring with a grill, and the campground features vault toilets for convenience. While there are no electric hookups, the natural amenities more than compensate, with a boat ramp providing direct access to Elk Lake’s clear waters. Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby wetlands, forests, and rocky areas that host a variety of animals, including deer and shorebirds.
