Ponderosa Campground

Set against the striking backdrop of the Blue Mesa Reservoir's Soap Creek Arm, Ponderosa Campground offers an exceptional escape for those seeking serenity, panoramic views, and access to adventure. The campground is also home to an upper-loop horse corral, catering to equestrian campers. Soap Creek Road, the access route, offers a rugged journey of 7 miles on gravel but may pose challenges during rainy conditions, adding an adventurous element to the arrival.
