It features 34 individual sites designed with privacy in mind, offering picnic tables, fire rings, and access to hand-pumped wells for drinking water. Vault toilets are well-maintained, and the grounds include trailheads for Gull Rock Trail and Hope Point Trail. These trails provide opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife spotting, with stunning views along the way. The nearby town of Hope is only a mile away and invites campers to enjoy quaint streets, historic log cabins, gold panning, and local salmon fishing on Resurrection Creek.
Located 17.8 miles off the Hope Highway and just over 80 miles south of Anchorage, Porcupine Campground serves as an ideal base for day trips and weekend getaways.
