The campground features 25 spacious sites nestled among spruce and lodgepole pines, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Clean vault toilets and potable water from hand pumps ensure basic comforts for campers. The area's natural beauty shines through with abundant wildflowers in season and ample opportunities for wildlife viewing, including elk, moose, and deer in the nearby meadows.
Located 33 miles east of Lovell, Wyoming, along the Medicine Wheel Passage Scenic Byway, Porcupine Campground offers a gateway to numerous outdoor adventures. Within a short drive, visitors can explore the ancient Medicine Wheel National Historic Landmark or embark on hiking excursions to Porcupine Falls and Bucking Mule Falls.
