Potters Creek Park

Potters Creek Park Campground, located on the northern shore of Canyon Lake in Texas Hill Country, offers serene lakeside camping, well-maintained amenities, and a variety of recreational opportunities that exceed the expectations of many campers. The campground features more than 100 RV sites and 10 tent sites, all equipped with water and electric hookups, plus basic amenities like picnic tables, grills, and fire rings. Some sites are near the water, providing unobstructed lake views, while others are shaded by junipers and oaks. Visitors will appreciate the paved roads, large camping loops, and clean, modern restrooms with hot showers. On-site facilities include a swim beach, two boat ramps, a fishing pier, and a dump station, ensuring a comfortable stay for all types of campers. Wildlife enthusiasts can expect to see birds and deer throughout the property, adding to the natural charm.

Located roughly 15 minutes from the town of Canyon Lake, the park is surrounded by outdoor attractions. Visitors can enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming in Canyon Lake, as well as kayaking or tubing on the Guadalupe River. Nearby trails cater to hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders, while the historic town of Gruene and Natural Bridge Caverns are within an easy 30-minute drive, offering cultural and geological explorations.
